“Nude Figure” By Aaron Bohrod American/Wisconsin, (1907-1992)

Ink on paper drawing by a renown Chicago artist. initialed lower right, “Warren [illegible] Collection” stamp en verso, framed in a gorgeous, ornate gold frame. Bohrad was artist in residence at the university of Wisconsin Madison. He developed the Tromp-l’oeil style of highly decorative, detailed still life paintings, which gives an illusion of real life. It was this style with which he became internationally identified.
